Mount Pleasant Dinner
I am happy to announce that Friday, April 1st is the official date for our Mount Pleasant Spaghetti dinner fundraiser! It will be at the His House Christian Fellowship on Broomfield south of Towers residence halls from 5-8pm. There will be all-you-can-eat spaghetti, meatballs, breadsticks, and desserts!!! This evening will be a great time to learn more about bike & build, hang out with all of your friends and, of course, support Summer and I in out trip across America! Please come and eat your fill! Yum!

2 months to go!
Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't written in a long time. Life has been busy (as usual).
It is finally warm enough for me to ride my bike outside. Gotta love Michigan weather. So far I've been able to go on several lovely rides with my roommate Summer all around Mt. Pleasant! Today we rode 12.75 miles with stops at the ReStore and the Post Office (where I got to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful sun while I watched the bikes). My bike is amazing. I feel so fast when I ride :) I'm also taking a cycling class through Central so I will be prepared for this summer. So far we haven't done much but we are starting to learn maintanence next week.
My other preparations are going great too! I have finished all of my "sweat equity." Bike & Build requires participants to spend 10 hours working with affordable housing groups to learn more about the cause. I love working at the ReStore every friday, so this part was pretty easy. I'm over 75% done with my fundraising. I have raised $3400 so far. Summer and I have several more fundraisers planned, so hopefully the last bit won't be too hard!
